Signing Up for a USA Wrestling Membership Card
Each wrestler must have a current USA Wrestling membership to go to practice or compete. Below is a quick breakdown on how to get one.
1. Go to www.usawmembership.com or go to www.themat.com and then go to
Membership > Login/Join Up at the top.
2. Log in or create a free account
3. Make a profile for the wrestler at Manage > Profiles
4. Once created, you should be on the My Profiles page. Click ‘Manage Profile’ on the far right of the wrestler.
5. Inside the profile you can add a photo and confirm profile information. At the top, Click ‘Get Memberships’.
6. Select ‘Purchase/Renew’ for an Athlete membership.
7. Pick any available membership and complete the checkout.
8. You do not need to show Joe the card.
Joe can see it on his end and you can confirm for yourself on the My Profiles page or in Manage Profile.
